KONNAO Hard-Bottom Dog Car Seat Extender, 191 kg Waterproof Back Seat Cover

The KONNAO hard-bottom dog car seat extender creates an expanded travel bed across a full-size vehicle back seat, measuring 63" L x 52" W (160.02 x 132.08 cm) and supporting up to 420 lb (190.5 kg).

• Three hard-bottom panels — create a supportive extended surface for pets in the back seat.
• Six-layer, waterproof, tear-resistant fabric — helps shield the rear seats and inner doors from fur, mud, scratches, and spills.
• Breathable mesh viewing window — allows airflow and lets you see your pet during the ride.
• Built-in large storage bag — keeps pet travel supplies together in the vehicle.
• Tool-free setup with adjustable safety straps — makes installation and removal straightforward across most sedans, SUVs, crossovers, and pickup trucks.
• Wipe-clean or vacuum care — helps remove liquid messes and pet hair from the cover.

Dogs and cats can have limited room on a standard vehicle seat, especially on longer trips or when several pets are travelling together. This extender is designed to cover the back-seat area and provide more space for pets to move, with a hard-bottom bed layout intended to help reduce travel stress. It also serves as a barrier between pets and the vehicle’s rear seating surfaces.

How much back-seat space does the KONNAO dog car seat extender cover?

It measures 63" L x 52" W (160.02 x 132.08 cm) and expands up to 52" x 25" (132.08 x 63.5 cm). The extender is made for full-size vehicle back seats, providing a broader area than a seat-only cover. Compare these measurements with your vehicle’s rear-seat area to assess fit.

• Designed as a full-coverage back-seat hammock and bed.
• Suitable for households travelling with multiple dogs or cats.

How does the hard bottom protect the seats?

Three high-density fiber hardboards form the base, while PP-cotton padding and six layers of wear-resistant fabric make up the cover. The construction is 100% waterproof and tear-resistant, and the cover is made to resist slipping and sagging. Its full-coverage layout shields the back seats and inner doors from scratches, fur, mud, and liquid messes.

• Made with heavy-duty, waterproof, high-density polyester fabric.
• Designed to block liquid, dirt, and pet stains from soaking through to the original upholstery.
• Built to resist wear and tearing compared with ordinary Oxford cloth covers.

Can pets see through the mesh window, and where can supplies go?

Yes. A breathable mesh viewing window supports airflow and gives you a view of your pet from the front seats. The vehicle’s climate control can be adjusted to help keep pets cool in summer or warm in winter. A large built-in storage bag provides a place for road-trip essentials.

• Use the storage bag for items such as food, toys, leashes, and pet bowls.
• The mesh panel supports visibility while travelling.

How do you install and clean the KONNAO extender?

Unfold it and secure the adjustable safety straps; no extra tools are required, and installation or removal takes minutes. It is designed to fit most sedans, SUVs, crossovers, and pickup trucks. For routine cleaning, wipe the cover with a damp cloth or vacuum away pet hair.

• Adjustable safety straps secure the extender in the vehicle.
• Tool-free setup makes it practical to remove between trips.

The KONNAO extender is suited to drivers who want an expanded, hard-bottom travel area for dogs or cats and added coverage for the rear seats and inner doors. Its measured fit, three-panel base, mesh window, and built-in storage make it a practical choice for full-size back-seat travel, including trips with multiple pets.
