Kensington Protective Products Horse Fly Mask, Large Black with Web Trim and Eye Darts

Kensington Protective Products Horse Fly Mask is a large, black eye-protection mask for horses, designed with twin ear openings for horses that need eye coverage without covered ears.

• Twin ear openings — leave the ears uncovered while providing eye protection.
• Durable web trim — reinforces the mask edges for regular use and horseplay.
• Double-locking hook-and-loop closure — helps the mask stay in place without binding.
• Elastic throat strap — works with the closure for a secure, flexible fit.
• Two eye darts — provide additional clearance around the eyes.

Horses may need eye shielding while resisting masks that cover their ears. This design addresses that need, and it can also be used for ocular protection outside fly season. Its features focus on ear coverage, eye clearance, and keeping the mask in place, making it suited to horses that need those specific considerations.

Does this fly mask cover the ears?

No. The twin ear-hole design leaves the ears uncovered while shielding the eyes. It is intended for horses that do not tolerate ear coverage, and the dual openings also help create a more stable fit. The same eye protection can be useful outside fly season when a horse still needs ocular shielding.

• Designed for horses that resist ear coverage.
• Offers an option for eye protection beyond fly season.

How is the mask secured, and what helps it hold up?

A double-locking hook-and-loop closure and elastic throat strap secure the mask while allowing a flexible fit without binding. Durable web trim finishes the edges, which can take wear from regular use or horseplay. Together, these details address both how the mask stays on and the wear its edges may encounter.

• The closure uses two locking points.
• Web trim is intended to maintain its appearance through use.

How much eye clearance does the design provide?

Two eye darts add clearance around the horse’s eyes. This is a specific design feature for shoppers looking for more eye room in a fly mask, alongside the twin openings that leave the ears uncovered.

• Double eye darts provide the additional clearance.
• Size: Large; color: black.

This mask is suited to horse owners looking for eye shielding with uncovered ears, a flexible securing system, and added eye clearance. Its large, black design combines twin ear openings with double eye darts for horses that need ocular protection without ear coverage.
