This rock-style dock creates an elevated spot for climbing, resting and basking in an aquarium or a reptile and amphibian habitat. The small version is suited to compact setups when its measurements fit the available space and the animal.

What can a turtle use the platform for?

The platform is designed for climbing, movement between levels, resting and basking. Its stepped incline gives small animals a way to move up and down, and the flat top serves as the resting terrace. This layout is intended to encourage movement as pets climb between the habitat floor and the upper surface.

• Suitable animal types include baby aquatic turtles, box turtles and land tortoises.
• It can also be used by frogs, newts, spiders, iguanas, lizards, geckos and other small animals.

Can it be used in freshwater and saltwater habitats?

Yes, the resin platform is made for use in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums, as well as amphibian and reptile habitats. Its rock-inspired form can function as an aquarium ornament or a climbing feature in an animal enclosure. The resin is designed not to affect water quality and not to deform during use.

• The natural-looking rock design suits aquarium and habitat landscaping.
• The product is made from resin and is intended for long-term use.

How do I choose the right size?

This listing is for the small version, measuring 6.0 × 2.7 × 2.7 in (15.24 × 6.86 × 6.86 cm). Compare those dimensions with the space available and the size of your animal before choosing. The platform comes in three sizes, and the shapes vary between sizes, so both the measurements and form matter when selecting a fit.

• Small size dimensions are given as length × width × height.
• Choose based on the animal and the available room in its aquarium or habitat.

kathson Turtle Basking Platform suits keepers looking to add a climbing and resting terrace to an aquarium or a small-animal habitat, particularly for turtles and other listed reptiles and amphibians. The small version is intended for setups where its footprint and height fit the animal and enclosure, rather than for animals or spaces that require a larger platform. Its ramp, flat top and rock-style resin form combine climbing access with an elevated resting and basking area.
