kathson Stainless Steel Rabbit Litter Box, Large Low-Entry Tray with Grate

The kathson stainless steel rabbit litter box is a low-entry toilet tray for small animals, with a 12 mm stainless steel grate and a spacious 17.50 x 13.58 x 2.55-inch (44.5 x 34.5 x 6.5 cm) tray.

• Stainless steel tray with smooth edges — provides a rust-resistant toilet area with edges designed for comfortable access.
• Thickened stainless steel grate — lets feces fall through and helps keep urine from sticking to the tray.
• 2/2.4-inch mesh — allows waste to pass through while helping prevent rabbits’ feet from getting caught.
• Open, extra-large design — gives small animals more tray space and is designed to reduce odor and the frequency of cleaning and replacement.
• Low entrance — makes it easier for young and elderly rabbits to get in and out.

This litter tray is made for small-animal toilet areas where a grate separates pets from collected waste. Its open design and low entry support everyday access, while the metal construction offers a defined place for litter-box use. The product is intended for rabbits and is also suitable for cats, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, and hamsters.

How does the grated tray help keep the toilet area cleaner?

The stainless steel grate separates an animal’s feet from waste that falls into the tray. Its 12 mm thickened and widened construction is designed to filter feces and prevent urine from sticking, helping keep paws cleaner. The specified 2/2.4-inch mesh openings allow feces to pass through while helping keep rabbits’ feet from becoming trapped or injured.

• Grate material: stainless steel.
• Grate thickness: 12 mm.
• Mesh size: 2/2.4 inches (approximately 5.08/6.10 cm).

Will the tray fit my pet and toilet area?

The tray measures 17.50 x 13.58 x 2.55 inches (44.5 x 34.5 x 6.5 cm), with a spacious layout for small-animal litter use. Compare these exterior dimensions with the area where you plan to place it. The low overall height and entrance are intended to make access easier for young and elderly rabbits.

• Suitable animals include rabbits, cats, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, and hamsters.
• Low-profile design supports easier entry and exit for rabbits.

What is the tray made from, and how is it designed?

The litter tray and grate are made of stainless steel. The tray has smooth edges and a thick-walled structure designed to resist deformation; the stainless steel material is also described as not easy to rust. Its open layout is designed to help reduce odors, while the larger space is intended to reduce how often litter needs cleaning and replacement.

• Thick-walled metal tray.
• Open design with a removable-style grated separation surface.

The kathson litter box suits rabbit owners looking for a low-entry, grated toilet tray, as well as households using a litter area for the other listed small animals. Its stainless steel construction, spacious dimensions, and waste-filtering grate define its use as an open litter tray rather than an enclosed toilet.
