Carrying a dog on a neighborhood walk or a full-day hike calls for a pack designed around both the wearer and the dog. The Kompanion brings together carrying support, padded leg openings and storage for hydration or cooling gear. Its Large size is intended for dogs that meet the stated body-length range, with Australian Shepherds, Border Collies, Brittanys, Terriers and small Labradoodles among the example breeds.

How do I know if the Large size will fit my dog?

The Large is best for a dog measuring 20–22 inches (51–56 cm) from the collar to the base of the tail. Compare that body length with your dog’s measurement when considering this pack; breed examples are a guide, while the length range is the key sizing detail.

• Example breeds include Australian Shepherd, Small Labradoodle, Border Collie, Brittany and Terrier.
• The carrier is designed to accommodate larger girth, alongside the specified body-length fit.

What features support the wearer and the dog?

The Kompanion combines lumbar support straps and a removable waist belt with an updated shoulder strap design for carrying comfort. For the dog, soft neoprene leg openings provide a cushioned contact area, and the pack’s fit accommodates larger girth. Design input from thousands of adventurers informed this next-generation carrier.

• The waist belt can be removed.
• Lumbar support and the waist belt are designed to help distribute weight on longer hikes.
• Neoprene is the stated material for the leg openings.

Can I carry hydration or cooling gear in the Kompanion?

Yes, the pack has a dedicated sleeve for a hydration bladder or cooling pad, plus an integrated hose port and shoulder strap routing. These features make room for hydration or cooling equipment as part of the carrier’s setup for walks and hikes.

• The sleeve is made for either a hydration bladder or a cooling pad.
• An integrated port provides a route for a hose.
• Shoulder strap routing and organization are built into the pack.

The Graphite Kompanion Large suits dog owners looking for a backpack carrier for neighborhood walks and longer hikes, particularly when their dog falls within the stated length range. It combines wearer-focused carrying features, neoprene leg openings and dedicated space for hydration or cooling gear in one dog carrier.
