JOYPAWS Extra Large Dog Basket Muzzle, Breathable Mesh for Panting and Drinking

The JOYPAWS extra-large dog basket muzzle is designed to help limit scavenging, barking and biting while letting dogs pant and drink, with breathable air mesh and adjustable straps.

• Air mesh with openings 200% larger — promotes airflow and heat dissipation.
• Open basket design — allows panting and drinking while the muzzle is worn.
• Adjustable straps and a collar loop — support a secure, customizable fit.
• Reflective nylon straps — improve visibility in low light.
• Covered muzzle design — helps limit scavenging, barking and biting in public settings.

For extra-large dogs, a muzzle can be useful during walks, training and grooming, as well as visits to public places. The JOYPAWS design is also intended for handling situations such as injections, ear care, examinations and giving medicine, where a dog may need gentle restraint around the snout.

Can a dog pant and drink while wearing this muzzle?

Yes. The basket-style design leaves room for a dog to take a deep breath and drink water. Unlike a heavy, fully enclosed traditional muzzle, this model uses soft mesh in a lightweight, ultra-thin construction, so it does not surround the snout with a solid enclosure.

• Soft air mesh is intended for use in different weather, including hot summer conditions.
• The mesh design increases the area available for heat dissipation.

How does the muzzle stay in place?

Adjust the straps around your dog’s snout to create a secure fit. A loop at the bottom lets you thread the dog’s collar through the muzzle for added security, while reflective nylon straps are easier to see during evening walks and in other low-visibility conditions.

• Check the size chart and choose a size based on your dog’s measurements.
• Read the included instructions and introduce the muzzle gradually; some dogs may feel uncomfortable wearing one at first.

When can an extra-large dog wear this muzzle?

JOYPAWS makes this muzzle for activities including walking, training and grooming, and for handling in public places. Its covered design helps discourage a dog from scavenging and can help manage barking or biting. The nylon fabric is designed to withstand a dog’s pawing, and the soft mesh construction is intended to remain comfortable during wear.

• Suitable for use during injections, ear treatments, examinations and medicine administration.
• Rewarding your dog with treats repeatedly can help them get used to wearing the muzzle.

This muzzle is suited to owners of extra-large dogs who need a breathable option for everyday outings, training or handling. Its adjustable fit, collar loop and open basket design combine restraint with room to pant and drink.
