The hygger DC Powerful Wave Maker is an adjustable aquarium circulation pump designed to create changing water movement, with four wave modes and a light-sensing low-flow setting.
Aquarium water movement helps circulate water, move food residues and impurities toward filtration, and add oxygen. The hygger wave maker is made for aquariums where adjustable flow is useful, including tanks with coral that benefits from suitable water movement.
It provides four patterns: constant wave, classic cross-flow, sine wave, and random wave. Constant Wave Mode lets you adjust the flow level from 1 to 20; the other three modes let you adjust the frequency from 1 to 20.
Frequency-conversion technology allows changes to water intensity and wave settings. The controller’s plus and minus buttons make adjustments directly.
When the room becomes dim, the controller’s light sensor automatically switches the pump to low flow and displays 01; when the room brightens, the pump returns to the previously set normal mode.
Low flow at night can be used instead of maintaining daytime circulation, and the night flow can also be turned off. For feeding, press the feeding button to stop the pump and start a timer; it resumes operation automatically when the selected interval ends.
The external controller has a digital display, function indicators, and clearly marked buttons. A magnetic holder secures the pump to the aquarium wall, and its silicone sleeve helps reduce noise and prevents the holder from scratching the tank wall.
The pump uses sine-wave motor control for quiet operation and a 24V low-voltage power supply. Its adjustable circulation is intended to create waves, support aquarium oxygenation, and help move debris toward filtration.
This wave maker suits aquarium keepers who want adjustable circulation, automatic low flow in dim conditions, and a temporary pump pause for feeding. It also offers configurable water movement for tanks where coral needs an appropriate flow, rather than a single unchanging circulation setting.
Q: What wave modes does the hygger DC wave maker have?
A: The hygger DC wave maker has constant wave, classic cross-flow, sine wave, and random wave modes. Adjust constant-mode flow from 1 to 20, or set frequency from 1 to 20 in the other modes.
Q: Can the hygger DC wave maker pause during feeding?
A: Yes. Press the feeding button on the hygger DC wave maker to stop the pump for 10, 20, 30, or 60 minutes; it resumes automatically when the selected time ends.
