Cold weather can call for extra warmth during everyday outings and bigger adventures. The Expedition Parka is designed for dogs that need an additional layer in those conditions, including dogs whose short coats or lack of an undercoat make them especially suited to this type of winter coat. Its adjustable fit and movement-focused design address two practical needs at once: a coat that can be tailored to the dog and one intended to accommodate activity.

Which dogs is the Expedition Parka designed for?

It is designed for all dogs, and is particularly beneficial for short-haired dogs and dogs without an undercoat when conditions are cold. The coat is intended for adventures where additional warmth is needed, whether the outing is small or big. Its purpose is to provide extra warmth while allowing an active dog to move freely.

• Use it for cold-weather outings when your dog needs additional warmth.
• The design is intended for both running and playing, not only standing or walking.

How do I choose the right size and adjust the fit?

Use the size chart together with the “Measuring Your Dog” guide, and treat back length as the most important measurement for apparel. The neckline, back length and collar circumference can each be adjusted. Measure your dog and compare the back length with the sizing guidance before choosing a size.

• Basic sizes span 8–32 in (20.3–81.3 cm).
• Sizes 16XS and 18XS are intended for Dachshunds.
• Sizes 12XL and 14XL are intended for small, bull-type dogs.

Can my dog move comfortably, and is the coat visible in the dark?

The Expedition Parka is designed to allow an extended range of motion during running and play, rather than restricting movement. 3M reflective piping improves safety and visibility in the dark, adding a visibility feature for low-light conditions.

• Adjust the coat’s three fit areas to suit your dog.
• The reflective piping is a feature of the coat; it does not replace checking your dog’s fit before an outing.

This Beetroot 12XL coat suits owners looking for added cold-weather warmth for a small, bull-type dog, with adjustments for fit and a design made for active movement. It is a winter coat intended for cold conditions, with reflective piping for visibility in the dark.
