HUOHUOCN Dog Car Seat Extender, 52-Inch Waterproof Hard-Bottom Cover, 227 kg Capacity

HUOHUOCN dog car seat extender is a waterproof back-seat cover designed to give dogs more room to travel, with 40% more back-seat space and a hard base that holds up to 500 lb (227 kg).

• Expands the available back-seat area by 40% — gives dogs more room to settle during car journeys.
• Three thickened PP hollow boards support up to 500 lb (227 kg) — create a stable base for dogs in the back seat.
• Seven-layer construction with 600D and 210D Oxford fabric — provides waterproof coverage for the vehicle seat.
• Anti-slip underside and an extended base — help keep the cover in place and prevent a dog from slipping into the seat gap.
• Breathable mesh window and two storage pockets — let dogs see the front seats while keeping travel essentials close.

This extender is made for car trips when a dog needs a broader resting area than the back seat alone provides. It covers the rear seating area while bridging the space between the front and back seats, helping keep a dog on the platform rather than dropping into the gap. The cover also shields the vehicle seats from dirt, scratches, and damage, making it useful for everyday journeys as well as longer drives.

How does the extender give a dog more room and support?

The extended platform increases the usable back-seat area by 40%, and its three PP hollow boards form the supporting base. The boards have a combined support capacity of up to 500 lb (227 kg), providing a firm platform for a dog to rest on during travel. By extending over the gap between the front and rear seats, the base also helps prevent a dog from slipping down between them. The underside is anti-slip to help limit movement of the cover while the vehicle is in use.

• The base combines three thickened PP hollow boards.
• The extended section covers the space between the front and rear seats.

What vehicle seats does the HUOHUOCN cover fit?

It is designed for most cars, SUVs, and small trucks, with an overall size of 52 × 25 × 15.3 in (132.1 × 63.5 × 38.9 cm). Compare these measurements with the available rear-seat area in your vehicle to choose a suitable fit. The cover protects the seat area from dog-related dirt, scratches, and damage while the extended base helps keep a dog from falling onto the floor through the seat gap. Its format also works as a dog hammock or back-seat pet bed for travel.

• Overall dimensions: 52 in long, 25 in wide, and 15.3 in deep.
• Intended vehicle types include most cars, SUVs, and small trucks.

What features help dogs and owners during a drive?

A breathable mesh window gives a dog a view toward the front seats and allows air to circulate. Seeing the owner and having airflow through the window may help ease a dog's travel anxiety. Non-slip zippers on both sides of the mesh make it easier to interact with the dog from the front seats. Two large storage pockets provide space for dog toys, snacks, and other travel supplies, keeping these items together in the back-seat area.

• The mesh window supports visibility and airflow between seating areas.
• Two side zippers provide access for interaction through the window.
• Two large pockets hold dog travel essentials.

How do you install and clean the seat cover?

Attach the adjustable straps and buckles to install the cover; the setup takes less than a minute. For cleaning, remove the bottom plate and machine-wash the cover. Its seven-layer construction uses 600D Oxford fabric and 210D Oxford fabric, joined through a heat-pressing process for waterproof protection. Together, the fabric layers and anti-slip underside help protect the seating surface while creating a designated travel area for a dog.

• Installation uses adjustable straps and buckles.
• Remove the bottom plate before machine washing the cover.

This HUOHUOCN extender suits dog owners who want to create a larger back-seat resting area while covering the vehicle seats and bridging the seat gap. Its measured size is intended for most cars, SUVs, and small trucks, rather than vehicles outside those categories. The extended platform, waterproof cover, mesh window, and storage pockets make it a back-seat travel setup with defined space for both a dog and its essentials.
