A dry or damaged nose can be uncomfortable for a dog, and this balm is made for nasal skin that is cracked, dried or splitting. Its purpose is to moisturize and condition the nose; it is not presented as a medicine with active ingredients. The formula is intended to absorb into the nose and begin the healing process, so keeping your dog distracted after applying it can give the balm time to absorb.
