HDKUW Dog Elbow Protector Sleeve, XL Stripe, Padded Mesh for Wound and Callus Coverage

HDKUW Dog Elbow Protector is a cotton-polyester recovery sleeve designed to protect a dog’s elbow from licking and help keep wounds clean, with a padded mesh joint patch.

• Extra-thick elbow patch with breathable mesh — cushions and covers the joint area.
• Cotton and polyester fabric — flexible, breathable coverage for a healing leg.
• Hook-and-loop closure — lets you adjust the sleeve and take it on or off easily.
• Connecting fabric between sleeves — helps keep them in place when a dog sits or lies down.
• Machine washable and reusable — made for repeated use, with regular breaks for the leg to breathe.

This sleeve is made for dogs that need elbow coverage during recovery, including after surgery, or protection for a wound during everyday activities. Covering the affected area can discourage licking and help keep the wound clean. The padded joint area also provides coverage for calluses, while the mesh construction allows airflow through the pad.

What does the HDKUW dog elbow sleeve protect?

It covers the elbow area to help protect calluses and wounds and discourage licking at the affected leg. The large, extra-thick patch sits over the joint, and its mesh fabric is designed to help reduce pain and inflammation. The sleeve can also provide wound protection during outdoor activities.

• Designed for post-surgery elbow protection as well as everyday use.
• Helps protect the sleeve from being torn during outdoor activity.

How do I choose the right HDKUW dog elbow protector size?

Measure the circumference of the affected leg at the elbow and compare it with the size chart. The product title identifies this version as XL, while the supplied measurements are labeled Size L; those Size L measurements are 9.0 inches (22.9 cm) sleeve length, 8.2 inches (20.8 cm) knee girth, and 6.7 inches (17.0 cm) cuff girth. The Size L guidance identifies it as suitable for medium-sized dogs.

• Use the affected leg for the elbow measurement when choosing a size.
• Compare the sleeve, knee, and cuff measurements with your dog’s fit needs.

How do I put on and care for the HDKUW recovery sleeve?

Put it on like clothing, then adjust the hook-and-loop closure to fit the dog’s leg. The fabric connection between sleeves helps limit movement while the dog is sitting or lying down. Cotton-polyester fabric is soft, flexible, and breathable, and the sleeve can be machine washed and reused.

• Remove the sleeve two to three times a day to let the leg breathe.
• Leave the leg uncovered at night, as recommended for everyday use.

HDKUW Dog Elbow Protector suits caregivers looking for reusable coverage for a dog’s elbow during wound recovery, after surgery, or during outdoor activity. For choosing the fit, measure the affected elbow and account for the difference between the XL product title and the supplied Size L measurements.
