Harrison Howard Horse Fly Mask, Deep Navy S with UV-Protective Mesh and Fleece Edging

Harrison Howard All-Round Mesh Horse Fly Mask is designed to shield horses from summer nuisances and harsh sunlight, with breathable fine mesh and soft fleece-padded edging in size S.

• UV-protective fine mesh — provides shade while allowing airflow.
• Breathable, non-heat-transferring mesh — helps keep the mask from holding heat against the horse.
• Fleece-padded edging — cushions the edges and helps keep debris and flying particles out.
• Generous forelock opening — leaves room for horses with a large forelock.
• Adjustable touch-and-go chin strap — secures beneath the jaw to help keep the mask in place.

Summer flies, pollen, direct sunlight and debris can bother horses outdoors. This deep navy mask is made for those seasonal conditions, combining face coverage with mesh intended to provide noticeable shade and a cooler feel. Its size S designation helps identify the size, while the adjustable fastening allows the fit to be secured beneath the jaw.

What does this fly mask help protect against?

The mask is designed to shield a horse from harsh UV rays and common summer irritants, including horseflies, pollen and debris. Its dense, fine mesh is breathable and does not transfer heat, providing shade from light and sunshine. The UV protection is intended to help minimize the chance of skin conditions associated with exposure; it does not guarantee a particular outcome.

• Made for summertime use when flies and other outdoor irritants are a concern.
• Deep navy color.

Will it accommodate a horse with a large forelock?

Yes. An opening between the ears provides space for a fuller forelock, allowing the hair to be pulled through so the mask can lie comfortably and flat on the horse’s head. The mask is size S, so use that size designation when choosing a fit for your horse.

• The forelock opening is positioned between the ears.
• The opening is designed to leave room for extra forelock hair.

How does the mask stay in place?

A single adjustable touch-and-go strap fastens under the jaw to secure the mask. Softly padded fleece edges are designed to reduce pressure marks on the skin, while also helping block debris and flying particles from getting beneath the mask.

• One adjustable strap fastens beneath the jaw.
• Soft edging cushions the mask’s contact with the horse’s skin.

This mask suits horse owners looking for summer coverage from sunlight, flies, pollen and debris, especially when a forelock needs extra room. Its size S fit, breathable mesh, fleece-padded edges and adjustable under-jaw fastening make it a practical option for seasonal outdoor wear.
