Setting up an aquatic habitat can mean sourcing a tank, lighting, filtration and habitat accessories separately. This kit brings those core pieces together for a small aquatic turtle or other small reptile, and its upgraded tank design also supports small fish. The included adjustable platform adds places to bask, climb and feed, while the lamp and filter provide dedicated lighting and water filtration equipment. The tank measures 15.75 × 7.9 × 9 in (40.0 × 20.1 × 22.9 cm), so compare those dimensions with your available space and the needs of the animal you plan to house.

Together, these components provide the tank, lighting, filtration and selected habitat accessories for an initial setup.

The kit includes both natural rocks and colored beads, plus a decorative plant. The hanging platform is supplied with its parts, and the manual is included for reference during setup. How does the adjustable platform and lamp work?

The hanging platform adjusts in height, and the lamp can be positioned through 360° to direct basking light. The platform creates areas for basking, climbing and feeding, while the lamp offers UVA/UVB lighting with brightness control and timed shut-off.

The timer has 2-, 4- and 8-hour settings with an auto shut-off function. Turtle basking routines call for 1–2 hours of sunlight per day; the included lamp provides a controllable lighting option for the habitat. Set the platform height to suit the layout you want, and direct the lamp toward the basking area.

• Platform height adjusts to change its position within the habitat.
• Lamp direction adjusts through 360°.
• Brightness control and 2-, 4- or 8-hour auto shut-off are built in.

How does the filter work, and what maintenance does it need?

The 3.5 W filter helps keep tank water clean and includes two filter plates. Hang the filter using its hook, with the rear suction cups helping to stabilize it.

For filter upkeep, replace the filter cartridge and rinse the motor regularly to remove debris every 1–2 weeks. This maintenance interval applies to the filter motor and cartridge; it is a useful part of keeping the filtration system clear of collected debris.

• Power: 3.5 W.
• Filter supplied with two filter plates.
• Hang it by the hook and use the rear suction cups for stability.
• Replace the cartridge and rinse the motor every 1–2 weeks.
