For dogs that chew forcefully, a ball needs to stand up to interactive play while still offering some give. The Goughnuts ball is designed for supervised fetch and chewing, giving dogs a way to play with their person on land or in water. Its stated weight range and diameter help owners judge whether this ball suits their dog.

Is the Goughnuts ball made for aggressive chewers?

Yes, it is designed for interactive, supervised play with aggressive chewers. The ball uses the same tough rubber as Goughnuts’ other toys, with enough give to make chewing enjoyable for a dog. Goughnuts’ rubber engineers also design rubber parts for spaceships and airplanes.

• Use it for supervised play rather than unsupervised power chewing.
• The design balances tough construction with some give.

How does the ball support play and airflow?

Grooves in the ball improve airflow, and its tough construction reduces the risk of a dog ingesting the toy. The ball also floats, making it suitable for fetch in water as well as on land.

• The grooved exterior is designed to improve airflow.
• Its floating design supports water-based games of fetch.

What happens if a dog damages the ball?

Goughnuts guarantees the ball for life and offers a replacement if a dog damages it: return the toy to Goughnuts for replacement. This guarantee applies to a toy designed for interactive play, not unsupervised power chewing.

• Made in the USA.
• For unsupervised chewing and greater durability, Goughnuts offers rings and stick chew toys.

This ball suits owners of dogs in its stated weight range who want a durable option for supervised fetch and chewing, including play in water. It is not intended for unsupervised power chewing; its fit and purpose are defined by its 30–70-pound range, 3-inch size, and interactive-play design.
