Gooby Fleece Dog Sweater, Lime 2X-Large, Zip-Up Winter Layer

Gooby’s lime Zip-Up Fleece Dog Sweater is a cold-weather layer for small dogs, made from 100% polyester with a zip closure.

• 100% polyester fleece — helps keep warm air in and moisture out in cold weather, including freezing rain or snow.
• Step-in zip-up design — makes the sweater easier to put on and take off.
• Bottom opening and roomy armholes — allow space for walking and bathroom breaks.
• 2X-Large size — has no back leash-attachment D-ring for safety.
• Machine washable and dryer suitable — helps clean away dirt, snow, salt and sidewalk slush.

Made for small dogs, this fleece vest offers coverage for cold-weather time at home and practical wear when a dog needs to go outside. Its open underside and armholes leave room for movement and bathroom breaks, while the back of the 2X-Large version has no D-ring for leash attachment.

How does the vest help in cold weather?

The fleece is designed to help keep warm air in while keeping moisture out in conditions such as freezing rain or snow. That combination makes the vest suited to chilly, wet winter weather. Its coverage is designed around a dog’s body while leaving the legs free through the arm openings.

• Made for winter wear at home and cold-weather outings.
• Openings leave room for walking and bathroom breaks.

How should I choose a size for my dog?

Measure your dog’s chest and choose a size based on that measurement. For a comfortable fit over the head, the neck opening should be larger than your dog’s head. Gooby makes this vest for small dogs, so a size name such as 2X-Large does not mean it is sized for a large breed.

• Use a tape measure to check chest size before choosing.
• Compare the neck opening with your dog’s head size.

Good to know: the 2X-Large vest does not have a back D-ring for attaching a leash.

Is the zip-up style easy to put on and remove?

Yes. The step-in design and zip closure are made to simplify dressing and undressing, including when your dog needs to go out quickly. The bottom opening and armholes provide space for movement once the vest is on.

• Designed to step in, close and go.
• Arm openings accommodate walking and bathroom breaks.

How do you clean the fleece dog sweater?

The vest is machine washable and can be put in the washer and dryer. This care option is useful after winter wear exposes it to dirt, salt, snow or sidewalk slush.

• Machine wash for routine cleaning.
• Dryer use is suitable.

This Gooby fleece vest suits small-dog owners looking for a cold-weather layer with easy on-and-off dressing and openings for everyday movement. It is sized for small dogs, and the 2X-Large version has no leash-attachment D-ring.
