Sand and minerals can accumulate in a horse’s intestinal tract, and that buildup can lead to sand colic. Formula 707 Psyllium Pellets are made for horse owners seeking a psyllium fiber supplement as part of a periodic routine. The pelleted format is intended to make feeding simpler than using powdered psyllium, while the fiber’s water-absorbing action helps it catch debris as it moves through the intestine.

What are Formula 707 Psyllium Pellets designed to do?

They are designed to help protect against the accumulation of sand and minerals in your horse’s intestinal tract. Psyllium comes from the seed husks of the psyllium plant; in the intestine, the fiber absorbs water and expands, catching debris along the way. This is the mechanism behind its use in a routine intended to clear out sand or minerals.

• Provides psyllium fiber from plant seed husks.
• Expands with water absorption in the intestine.

How are the pellets different from powdered psyllium?

Formula 707 Psyllium is pelleted for easy feeding, unlike powdered psyllium supplements. This format gives horse owners a ready-to-feed pellet form of the same type of supplement, without the powder format.

• Pellet form is the product’s key format distinction.
• Intended for horses as a psyllium supplement.

How often does Formula 707 recommend using it?

Formula 707 recommends using psyllium for a few days every month to clear out sand or minerals. The 12 lb container is identified as a 48-day supply, giving you a stated supply duration for planning a recurring routine. Follow the product’s feeding directions when determining how to serve it to your horse.

• Monthly use is recommended for a few days at a time.
• The package quantity is 12 lb, identified as a 48-day supply.

Formula 707 Psyllium Pellets suit horse owners looking for a pelleted psyllium fiber supplement to include in a periodic routine focused on intestinal sand and mineral accumulation. They are intended for that purpose, rather than as a general-purpose feed. With psyllium seed-husk fiber in an easy-to-feed pellet format, this product combines a specific fiber source with a monthly-use recommendation.
