For dogs with food sensitivities, choosing a food with a limited ingredient list can make the recipe easier to assess. Evolve Simply Six is dry dog food made for that purpose, with whole grain and a formula intended to support skin and coat health. The product details also contain conflicting ingredient descriptions, which matter when selecting food for a dog that needs to avoid particular proteins or legumes.

What is Evolve Simply Six designed to support?

Evolve Simply Six is made for food-sensitive dogs and formulated to help support healthy skin and coat. Its recipe includes whole grain, which the product details connect with good digestion. The description also says the food provides a natural source of glucosamine and chondroitin, nutrients associated with joint support.

• Natural flavor is included alongside the six key ingredients.
• Essential vitamins and minerals are part of the formula.

Which protein and ingredients does this recipe contain?

The product name identifies turkey meal, brown rice and pea, while the description identifies lamb meal as the only animal protein. These protein descriptions conflict. The product name also includes pea, while a feature says the recipe contains no legumes, so the legume information conflicts as well.

Other recipe details identify exclusions and ingredient categories without resolving those differences. If you are choosing food to avoid a specific protein or legume, these conflicting details are important to consider. The product information also says the recipe contains no by-product meal and no fillers.

• The product name includes brown rice.
• The feature details exclude corn, wheat and soy.

How much food comes in the bag?

Each Evolve Simply Six bag contains 12 lb (5.44 kg) of dry dog food. The six-key-ingredient count is presented separately from natural flavor, vitamins and minerals, so those additions are not part of the stated six.

• Product type: dry dog food.
• Package quantity: 12 lb (5.44 kg).

Evolve Simply Six may suit dog owners looking for dry food made for food-sensitive dogs, with whole grain and a stated skin-and-coat support purpose. It is especially important to resolve the protein and legume conflicts before choosing it for a dog with specific ingredient restrictions. Its stated package size is 12 lb (5.44 kg).
