Equerry's Large Animal Probiotic, 2.27 kg, 40 Feedings for Digestive Support

Equerry’s Large Animal Probiotic is a 5 lb (2.27 kg) feed supplement formulated to support digestive health and nutrient absorption, with 40 feedings for a 1,000 lb (454 kg) animal.

• Six species of microencapsulated probiotics — designed to survive stomach acid and support a balanced gut environment.
• A custom blend of six digestive enzymes — helps break down fats, proteins, and carbohydrates.
• Active live yeast — supports digestive stability, appetite, and nutrient absorption.
• For daily use and recovery from antibiotics or dewormer — suits routine feeding as well as recovery periods.

Digestive changes can accompany travel, foaling, feed changes, or other stressful periods. Equerry’s Large Animal Probiotic is made for horses and other large animals when digestive balance and the efficient use of nutrients are a priority. Its probiotic, enzyme, and live yeast components are intended to support gut function as part of the animal’s feeding routine.

How does Equerry’s Large Animal Probiotic support digestion?

Its microencapsulated probiotics are formulated to pass through stomach acid, flourish in the gut, and help suppress harmful pathogens. The enzyme blend helps break down fats, proteins, and carbohydrates for more efficient nutritional absorption, while live yeast supports pH balance and digestive stability.

• Six probiotic species work alongside six digestive enzymes.
• The formula is designed to support appetite, energy, and overall gut health.

Which animals can use this probiotic?

Equerry’s Large Animal Probiotic is formulated for horses, cows, goats, sheep, and pigs. It is particularly suited to animals prone to digestive upset, including colic or bloating, and can be used during stressful transitions such as travel, foaling, or a change in feed.

• Suitable for daily use.
• May be used during recovery from antibiotics or dewormer.

What role does live yeast play in the formula?

The active live yeast is included to help maintain pH balance, a strong appetite, digestive stability, and nutrient absorption. These functions are especially relevant during periods of stress, when travel, foaling, or feed changes can affect an animal’s digestive routine.

• Supports digestive stability during changes in routine.
• Designed to complement the probiotic and enzyme components.

This supplement is suited to caregivers of horses, cows, goats, sheep, or pigs who want a daily-use formula to support gut health and nutrient absorption, including during stressful periods or recovery. Its combination of microencapsulated probiotics, digestive enzymes, and active live yeast is designed for large-animal digestive support.
