Eheim Coarse Filter Pads for Classic 2215, Blue, 2-Pack, Reusable

The EHEIM Coarse Filter Pad is a blue coarse filter pad for pre-cleaning water in the EHEIM Classic 2215 external filter, supplied as a set of 2.

• Made for EHEIM Classic 2215 — matches the specified external filter model.
• Coarse filtration — catches large debris from incoming water.
• Pre-cleans water before the rest of the cleaning process — provides an early filtration stage.
• Rinse and reuse — the pad can be returned to use after rinsing.
• Set of 2 pads — includes two coarse filter pads.

In a canister filter, water moves through a cleaning process in stages. This pad is intended for the start of that process: it treats and pre-cleans incoming water, trapping larger debris before the water continues through the remaining cleaning stages. It gives Classic 2215 owners a model-specific coarse filtration option in a reusable pad format.

What does the EHEIM coarse filter pad do?

The EHEIM Coarse Filter Pad catches large debris as incoming water is pre-cleaned before moving through the rest of the filtration process. Its role is defined by coarse filtration, making it the pad for the initial stage rather than a description of every stage in the canister’s cleaning process. This helps clarify where it fits in the filter’s sequence: first, larger debris is trapped; then the water continues through the remaining cleaning process.

• Designed for the incoming-water stage.
• Traps large debris before the subsequent cleaning stages.

Which filter is this pad made for?

This EHEIM coarse pad is intended for the EHEIM Classic 2215 external filter. Choosing by the model name helps match the pad to the filter it is designed for; it is not identified for other Classic models here. The product is a filter component for the specified canister, not a complete filter.

• Compatible model: EHEIM Classic 2215.
• Filter type: Classic external canister filter.

Can the EHEIM filter pad be rinsed and reused?

Yes, the EHEIM Coarse Filter Pad can be rinsed and reused. That care option means the pad is not intended to be discarded after a single use. The package quantity is two pads, so the set contains a pair of the same coarse filtration component.

• Rinse the pad for reuse.
• Two coarse pads are included in the set.

This set suits aquarium owners using an EHEIM Classic 2215 who want a coarse pad for trapping larger debris during the initial water-cleaning stage. It is a model-specific, reusable filtration component, supplied as two pads for the Classic 2215.
