• 132 suction cups underneath — help keep the mat in place on the floor.
• Food-grade silicone — provides a soft surface for pets’ noses.
• Rinse with water or clean in the dishwasher — makes post-meal cleanup straightforward.

Fast eating can leave a pet’s meal over quickly, while unoccupied dogs may become bored at home. This enrichment mat turns feeding into a sniffing and licking activity, giving pets more to engage with during meals and treat time. Its large format is designed for use by dogs of different sizes as well as cats and rabbits.

How does the Drescu mat encourage slower eating and foraging?

The Drescu mat uses a leaf-patterned surface to make food less immediately accessible than food served in a simple pile. As pets sniff, lick, and search through the pattern, the mat is designed to prolong mealtime and encourage active feeding. Slower eating may help with bloating associated with eating too quickly; the added activity can also help occupy pets and ease boredom-related stress.

• Made for dry food and wet food.
• Leaf-shaped spaces provide places to hide food for sniffing and foraging.

Which pets and feeding spaces is this large mat suited to?

The Drescu Dog Lick Mat & Snuffle Mat measures 16.3 x 16.3 in (41.4 x 41.4 cm) and is intended for small, medium, and large dogs, as well as cats and rabbits at any life stage. The suction-cup backing is designed to grip the floor and help prevent the mat from flipping or shifting during use. Compare the mat’s footprint with the feeding area where you plan to place it.

• Designed for pets of any breed.
• Leak-proof edging helps contain food on the mat.

What is the Drescu mat made of, and how do you clean it?

The Drescu mat is made from food-grade silicone, with a soft surface intended to be gentle on a pet’s nose. After feeding, rinse it with water or put it in the dishwasher for cleaning. This gives you a choice of a quick rinse or dishwasher cleanup after either wet or dry food.

• Flexible silicone construction.
• For use on the floor with the suction-cup side facing down.

The Drescu mat is a fit for pet owners who want to make feeding more engaging and slow down fast eaters, with a format that suits dogs, cats, and rabbits. Its food-hiding leaf pattern, floor-gripping backing, and washable silicone design bring sniffing activity and everyday feeding together in one mat.
