Derby Originals Comfy Stretch Lycra Horse Sheet, Full Head and Body Coverage with Zipper

Derby Originals Comfy Stretch Lycra Sleazy Slicker is a full-head-and-body horse sheet designed to help train the mane, protect the coat and keep a horse clean, with four-way stretch and a neck zipper.

• Breathable, moisture-wicking Lycra spandex — helps keep the horse comfortable while covering the head and body.
• Four-way stretch — follows the horse’s movement for a close-fitting sheet.
• Full-head-and-body coverage — helps protect the face and coat and keep hair in place.
• Machine washable Lycra, resistant to rips, tears and snags — made for repeat use and washing.
• Multiple size ranges from Small Mini to XXL Horse — choose a closer fit using the listed measurements.

This stretch sheet is made for horse owners who want to manage the mane, protect the coat from dirt, hay and debris, or keep a horse clean before a show. It can also be worn under a favorite blanket to help reduce chafing, rubbing and fur loss, or provide an extra layer of warmth. Its close fit is intended for coverage and coat care rather than a loose drape.

What can this Lycra sheet help with?

Derby Originals Comfy Stretch Lycra Sleazy Slicker is designed to help train the mane to lie flat and to one side while polishing the coat. The form-fitting fabric holds hair in place and covers the face and body, helping keep the coat free from dirt, hay and debris. It is also designed to help prevent chafing and keep the horse clean and fly-free.

• Use it before a show to help keep the horse clean.
• Wear it beneath a blanket to help reduce rubbing and fur loss.
• The sheet can provide warmth underneath a horse’s favorite blanket.

How does the design fit and fasten?

The sheet has a noseband, a neck zipper for easier on-and-off, a wide Velcro belly-band closure and adjustable leg straps. Extra-large eye and ear openings are designed to improve the fit, while the breathable, non-rubbing fabric supports comfortable wear.

• Full-head-and-body coverage includes the face, ears and eyes.
• Four-way stretch allows movement while maintaining a close fit.
• Measure for the skin-fit design and choose the size range that includes your horse’s measurement.

Which size should I choose?

Choose from ten size ranges, from Small Mini to XXL Horse, using the measurement in inches. Small Mini fits 36–40 in (91.4–101.6 cm); Medium Mini, 42–46 in (106.7–116.8 cm); Large Mini, 48–52 in (121.9–132.1 cm); Small Pony, 54–58 in (137.2–147.3 cm); and Large Pony, 60–64 in (152.4–162.6 cm).

• Small Horse/Cob: 66–70 in (167.6–177.8 cm); Full/Average Size: 72–76 in (182.9–193 cm).
• Large Horse: 78–82 in (198.1–208.3 cm); XL Horse: 84–88 in (213.4–223.5 cm).
