Davis Manufacturing Degrease Pet Shampoo for Dogs and Cats, Concentrated Formula

Davis Degrease Pet Shampoo is a concentrated shampoo for removing difficult oil, grease and dirt from dogs and cats, including puppies and kittens.

• Formulated to remove stubborn oil, grease and dirt — for pets with oily or heavily soiled coats.
• Concentrated, versatile formula — made for several greasy-coat cleaning needs.
• For dogs, cats, puppies and kittens — suitable for a range of companion animals and ages.
• Soft paste when cool and thick ivory liquid when warm — both consistencies clean equally well.
• Clean citrus fragrance and a healthy coat shine — two finishing qualities after cleaning.

Grease and oily dirt can be difficult to remove from a pet’s coat, ears or other affected areas. Davis Degrease is made for targeted cleaning when ordinary pet grime is not the only concern, including oily coats, heavy soil and coats stained with motor oil. Its concentrated formula is also suited to specific oily conditions such as greasy ears, oily seborrhea and stud tail.

What kinds of oil and dirt is Davis Degrease Pet Shampoo made to clean?

Davis Degrease Pet Shampoo is formulated to remove difficult oil, grease and dirt, including tough coat stains. It is particularly suited to oily-coated breeds and pets with especially dirty coats, giving owners a shampoo designed around greasy or persistent soil rather than routine coat cleaning alone.

• Suitable for coats stained with motor oil.
• Made for greasy ears, including Cocker Spaniel ears.
• Can be used for cats with stud tail.

Which pets can use Davis Degrease Pet Shampoo?

Davis Degrease Pet Shampoo is made for dogs and cats, including puppies and kittens. Its intended cleaning uses include pets with oily seborrhea as well as animals whose coats or ears have accumulated grease. The product addresses coat and surface cleaning; the supplied details make no disease-treatment claim.

• Intended for both canine and feline coats.
• Includes puppies and kittens among the suitable pets.
• Relevant to oily seborrhea and stud tail cleaning needs.

Does the shampoo’s consistency change with temperature?

Yes. Davis Degrease Pet Shampoo is a soft paste when cool and becomes a thick ivory liquid in warmer temperatures. The change in texture does not alter its cleaning performance: both consistencies work equally well, so its appearance can vary with temperature.

• Cool conditions: soft-paste consistency.
• Warmer conditions: thick ivory liquid consistency.

Davis Degrease is suited to owners of dogs, cats, puppies or kittens who need a concentrated shampoo for oily coats, stubborn grease or heavy dirt, including the specific ear and coat concerns noted above. Its defining fit is targeted greasy-coat cleaning in a formula that works equally well as a cool paste or a warmer liquid.
