CoyoteVest SpikeVest Dog Harness, Size M Yellow with Removable Spikes

CoyoteVest SpikeVest is a USA-made, size M dog harness designed to help slow a surprise attack and give you time to react, with a puncture-resistant Cordura vest and removable spikes.

• Made in the USA — a protective dog vest produced domestically.
• Puncture-resistant Cordura fabric — adds a protective layer against sharp canine teeth.
• Removable hard-plastic spikes — attach or remove them with Velcro to adjust the vest.
• Two wide Velcro belts — secure the SpikeVest using belts rather than CoyoteVest nylon straps and snap buckles.
• Leash D-ring and reflective features — connect a leash and help your dog be more visible at night.

For walks and other outings where coyotes or aggressive dogs may pose a risk, the SpikeVest is designed to help slow or prevent a surprise attack and give you time to respond before serious injury occurs. Its yellow color and reflective details are useful features for outdoor wear.

Which areas does the CoyoteVest SpikeVest cover?

The vest provides neck and back coverage with removable spikes. A set includes neck spikes and two strips of spikes for the back, alongside the vest itself. Its Cordura fabric is puncture-resistant and stab-resistant, made to withstand sharp canine teeth from coyotes and aggressive dogs.

• The hard-plastic spikes are safe to handle.
• Velcro makes the spikes easy to add or remove.

How do I choose the right SpikeVest size?

Measure your dog while standing, then compare the measurement with the sizing chart; this item is size M. Measure in a straight line from the front shoulder to the start of the tail, without bending the tape along the body. If you are between sizes or remain unsure after measuring, choose the smaller size.

• Measure from the shoulder to the tail start, not around the dog.
• Keep your dog standing rather than sitting for the measurement.

How does the SpikeVest attach and how should I care for it?

Two wide belts with Velcro fasten the SpikeVest, unlike the CoyoteVest design that uses nylon straps and snap buckles. A D-ring provides a leash attachment point, and reflective features help make the dog more visible at night. The vest is water-repellent and contains no metal, so it will not rust.

• Hand wash with mild detergent.
• Air dry in the shade.

The CoyoteVest SpikeVest suits dog owners looking for a size M protective vest for outings where encounters with coyotes or aggressive dogs are a concern. Its neck and back spike coverage, puncture-resistant Cordura fabric, and leash D-ring bring protection and practical walking features together in one USA-made vest.
