Fast stops, turns and acceleration place different demands on a horse’s legs than steady movement. These hind boots are made for horses doing that kind of work in training or competition, where lower-leg support and protection are priorities. Their design brings together support for the suspensory area and coverage intended for crossfire protection, while allowing natural movement.

How does the Legacy2 support and protect a horse’s hind legs?

The Cradle Fetlock System is shaped to mimic the natural anatomy of tendons and ligaments, providing support for the suspensory apparatus in the lower legs. The boot is also specifically designed to guard against crossfire injuries, and its splint pad absorbs shock around the splint bone and nearby soft tissue. Together, these features address support and impact protection during demanding activity.

• Made for hind-leg use.
• Combines suspensory support with splint-area protection.
• Designed for intense maneuvers.

Can the Legacy2 support movement without limiting flexibility?

Yes. The boot is designed to work with a horse’s natural movement rather than restrict it. That design suits activities involving stopping, turning and accelerating, where a horse needs to move freely while the lower legs receive support.

• Intended for training or competition.
• Supports the suspensory apparatus while allowing natural movement.
