Classic Equine Legacy2 Hind Protective Boots, Large Blue 2-Pack with Fetlock Support

Classic Equine Legacy2 Hind Protective Boots are a two-boot set for protecting a horse’s hind lower legs, with the patented Cradle Fetlock System and a shock-absorbing splint pad.

• Patented Cradle Fetlock System — follows the natural anatomy of tendons and ligaments to support the suspensory apparatus.
• Designed for crossfire protection — helps shield the horse’s lower legs during demanding maneuvers.
• Flexible design — supports natural movement during stops, turns, and acceleration.
• Shock-absorbing splint pad — helps protect the splint bone and surrounding soft tissue.
• Two hind boots in Large, Blue — provides a matched pair for fitting the horse’s hind legs.

Horses that stop, turn, and accelerate in training or competition place their lower legs in motion through changing maneuvers. The Legacy2 is made to provide hind-leg protection while allowing natural movement, making it suited to active riding where crossfire protection and support for the suspensory apparatus are priorities.

How does the Legacy2 support the horse’s lower legs?

The patented Cradle Fetlock System is shaped to mimic the natural anatomy of the horse’s tendons and ligaments. Its design supports the suspensory apparatus in the lower legs, while the boot is intended to work with the horse’s movement rather than restrict it.

• Made for the horse’s hind legs.
• Designed to support natural flexibility through active movement.
• Useful for horses that stop, turn, and accelerate during training or competition.

What protection does the splint pad provide?

A shock-absorbing splint pad helps protect the splint bone and surrounding soft tissue. The Legacy2 is also specifically designed to help protect the horse’s lower legs from crossfire injuries during intense maneuvers.

• Splint pad absorbs shock.
• Protection focuses on the splint bone and nearby soft tissue.
• Durable construction is intended for use through intense maneuvers.
