Fast changes of direction and acceleration put a horse’s lower legs through demanding movement. The Legacy2 front boot is made for training and competition where protection and support need to work with the horse’s movement, rather than restrict it.

How does the Legacy2 support the lower leg?

Its patented Cradle Fetlock System is designed around the natural anatomy of a horse’s tendons and ligaments. The system supports the suspensory apparatus in the lower legs while allowing natural movement and flexibility.

• Cradle Fetlock System supports the suspensory apparatus.
• Anatomy-inspired design follows the structure of tendons and ligaments.

What protection does the boot provide during intense activity?

The Legacy2 is designed to guard against crossfire injuries, and its shock-absorbing splint pad protects the splint bone and surrounding soft tissue. Its durable construction is intended for use through intense maneuvers.

• Shock-absorbing splint pad helps absorb impact around the splint bone.
• Lower-leg coverage is made for demanding activity.

Will it allow a horse to move naturally?

Yes. The boot is designed to support the suspensory apparatus without restricting motion, including during the stops, turns, and acceleration common in training or competition.

• Designed to work with natural movement and flexibility.
• Intended for active training and competition use.
