Fast stops, turns, and acceleration put a horse’s lower legs through demanding movements in training and competition. The Legacy2 is made for riders seeking protective support for those activities while allowing the horse to move naturally. This listing is for the front boot in Charcoal, Small.

What protection is the Legacy2 front boot designed to provide?

The Legacy2 is specifically designed to protect a horse’s legs from crossfire injuries and provide support through intense maneuvers. Its patented Cradle Fetlock System is shaped to mimic the natural anatomy of the horse’s tendons and ligaments, supporting the suspensory apparatus in the lower legs. The boot’s design provides support without restricting natural movement.

• Made for the lower legs during training or competition.
• Designed around the horse’s natural tendon and ligament anatomy.
• Classic Equine’s best-selling boot, trusted by professional trainers and riders.

How does the splint pad help protect the lower leg?

A shock-absorbing splint pad helps protect the splint bone and surrounding soft tissue. This added protective area is intended for the demands of intense activity, alongside the boot’s support for the suspensory apparatus. The Legacy2 is designed to help protect against injury; it does not guarantee that injuries will be prevented.

• Shock-absorbing pad is part of the boot.
• Protection focuses on the splint bone and nearby soft tissue.

Which size and color is this front boot?

This version is a Small front boot in Charcoal. Legacy2 boots are available in Small, Medium, Large, and X-Large, with a variety of colors while supplies last. The supplied product details give the size category rather than measurements, so the fit information here is the Small designation.
