Canine Naturals Chicken Dog Chews, Large 7-Inch Rolls, 5 Count, Rawhide-Free

Canine Naturals Rawhide Free Chicken Recipe Dog Chews are five 7-inch (18 cm) chicken rolls made to satisfy dogs’ chewing instinct, with no rawhide or collagen.

• 100% rawhide- and collagen-free — offers a chew without animal-hide ingredients.
• Lab-tested at up to 400% more digestible than rawhide-based chews — gives buyers a specific comparison for digestion.
• USA-raised and sourced chicken is the number-one ingredient — puts chicken first in the recipe.
• No artificial flavors or colors, or corn, wheat, or soy fillers — keeps these ingredients out of the chew.
• Chewing helps clean teeth and gums — adds a dental-cleaning purpose to treat time.

Dogs naturally chew, but rawhide-based chews can be difficult to digest. These limited-ingredient chicken rolls offer a hide-free option for rewarding that behavior, with chicken as the central ingredient and a chew designed to keep dogs occupied. Their large-roll format is suited to dogs in the 50 to 75 lb (23 to 34 kg) range, while the brand recommends choosing a chew larger than the dog’s mouth to encourage chewing and working on the roll rather than swallowing it whole.

What makes these chews a rawhide-free alternative?

Canine Naturals makes these rolls without rawhide or collagen derived from rawhide or other animal hide. The recipe uses whole muscle chicken meat rather than chicken parts, and the chicken is raised and sourced in the USA. An in-vitro study performed by Dr. Maria Godoy at the University of Illinois found the limited-ingredient chews to be up to 400% more digestible than rawhide-based products. This is a laboratory comparison, not a guarantee of an individual dog’s response.

• Limited-ingredient chicken recipe.
• Gluten-free.

What size dog are the large rolls intended for?

The 7-inch (18 cm) rolls are ideally sized for dogs weighing 50 to 75 lb (23 to 34 kg). Choose a chew that is larger than your dog’s mouth; that size guidance is intended to help the dog chew and work on the roll instead of simply swallowing it. The pack contains five rolls, making it a multi-chew option for households looking for this large format.

• Five chicken rolls per pack.
• Compare the roll size with your dog’s mouth before offering it.

What does chewing the chicken rolls do?

The rolls are made to satisfy a dog’s natural chewing instinct, and chewing helps clean the dog’s teeth and gums. Canine Naturals presents them as a long-lasting chew, combining an activity dogs enjoy with the chicken flavor of the recipe. They are a chew treat, rather than a replacement for a dog’s regular food or routine dental care.

• No artificial flavors or colors.
• No corn, wheat, or soy filler ingredients.

These large chicken rolls suit dog owners seeking a hide-free chew made with USA-sourced chicken, especially for dogs in the stated 50 to 75 lb range. The mouth-size guidance is useful when choosing a chew for a dog that may swallow treats quickly. With five 7-inch rolls and a recipe free of rawhide and collagen, this pack is made for dogs to chew rather than for small dogs or dogs needing a smaller-format treat.
