BRONZEDOG Pitbull Wire Basket Muzzle, Leather Grey, Adjustable Fit for Large Dogs

BRONZEDOG Pitbull Wire Basket Muzzle is a large-dog muzzle designed to help prevent biting or eating unwanted items while allowing comfortable breathing, sized for a 12-inch (30.48 cm) snout girth and 3 1/2-inch (8.89 cm) snout length.

• Open steel basket design — gives air room to circulate around the dog’s snout.
• Neoprene nose padding — cushions the area over the nose.
• Four adjustable leather straps — let you secure the muzzle over the dog’s head.
• Room for panting, drinking, nose licking and small treats — supports these everyday behaviors while muzzled.
• Made for walks, training, vet visits and grooming — covers common situations where a temporary muzzle can help with safety.

A muzzle can help manage safety during everyday outings and care, but it should not be used as punishment. This basket-style design is made for dogs that need a muzzle while still being able to breathe, drink and accept small treats. Introduce it gradually and positively so your dog can get used to wearing it.

How do I choose the right size for my dog?

This BRONZEDOG Pitbull Wire Basket Muzzle fits best when the dog’s snout measures 12 inches (30.48 cm) around and 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) long. Compare your dog’s measurements with both figures before choosing a fit; the product is intended for large dogs, including Pitbulls and Amstaffs. A measuring video provides fitting tips to help you select a comfortable, effective size.

• Measure snout girth and length before fitting.
• Available color options include Brown, Light brown, Pink and Gray; this version is Leather Gray.

Can my dog pant, drink and take treats while wearing it?

Yes, the BRONZEDOG wire basket leaves space for panting, drinking, nose licking and small treats. Its open shape provides ventilation, including in warm conditions, while helping prevent the dog from biting or eating things they should not. Compared with printed nylon muzzles, its metal basket construction is described as more secure and longer lasting.

• The basket shape keeps the nose area open rather than enclosing the snout.
• The design allows normal breathing and drinking while worn.

What materials and adjustments does this muzzle have?

The BRONZEDOG muzzle has a lightweight steel basket, soft neoprene padding over the nose and four adjustable leather straps. Adjust the straps to hold it securely over the dog’s head while keeping the padded nose area in place.

• The steel construction forms the basket around the snout.
• The leather straps provide adjustable fastening.

When should my dog wear this muzzle?

The BRONZEDOG Pitbull Wire Basket Muzzle is intended for temporary safety during walking, training, veterinary visits and grooming. Introduce it in gradual, positive steps and let your dog become comfortable wearing it; never use it to punish behavior. Its stated uses are everyday handling and care, rather than an exceptionally heavy-duty application.

• Use positive introduction to help your dog adjust to wearing a muzzle.
• Keep its purpose focused on temporary safety.

This muzzle best suits large Pitbulls, Amstaffs and similar dogs whose measurements match the stated snout size and who need a basket design for walks or handling. Its lightweight steel construction, adjustable leather straps and open shape support temporary use while allowing panting and drinking.
