BRONZEDOG Pitbull Wire Basket Dog Muzzle, Pink Leather Straps, Large

BRONZEDOG Pitbull Wire Basket Muzzle is a pink metal muzzle for large dogs, with a lightweight steel basket and four adjustable leather straps for a secure fit.

• Fits a 12-inch (30.48 cm) snout girth and 3 1/2-inch (8.89 cm) snout length — use these measurements to choose the fit.
• Steel basket construction — designed to help prevent biting or picking up unwanted items.
• Open basket shape — allows panting, drinking, small treats and nose licking.
• Neoprene padding over the nose — adds a soft contact layer.
• Adjustable leather straps — help secure the muzzle over the dog’s head.

For walks, training sessions, veterinary visits and grooming, this muzzle provides a temporary safety measure while leaving the dog able to breathe and drink. Its basket design also allows ventilation, making it a practical option for situations where a closed muzzle would restrict normal panting.

How do I choose the right size?

Choose the size that fits a snout girth of 12 inches (30.48 cm) and a snout length of 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm). Measure your dog’s snout and compare both measurements before choosing; BRONZEDOG provides a video with measuring tips.

• Fit depends on both snout girth and snout length.
• Adjust the four straps to secure the muzzle over the dog’s head.

What can my dog do while wearing it?

The open metal basket allows panting, drinking water, accepting small treats and licking the nose. It is designed to help prevent biting or eating things the dog should not, while allowing airflow through the basket.

• Basket construction provides ventilation.
• Use it as a temporary safety measure, not as punishment.

What is it made from, and how does it differ from a fabric muzzle?

BRONZEDOG uses lightweight steel for the basket, neoprene padding over the nose and leather for the adjustable straps. Compared with nylon printed muzzles, the metal construction is designed to be more secure and longer-lasting.

• Pink is the color named for this product.
• BRONZEDOG also offers Brown, Light brown and Gray color options.

Introduce the muzzle gradually and positively so your dog can become accustomed to wearing it. This BRONZEDOG muzzle suits large dogs whose snout measurements match the stated fit and whose handler needs a ventilated basket for temporary use during walks, training, vet visits or grooming. Its steel basket, adjustable leather straps and open design support a secure fit while allowing panting and drinking.
