Brightwell Aquatics CoralAmino is a 60 mL reef aquarium amino acid supplement designed to support coral tissue growth, recovery, and coloration with a free-form amino acid complex.
Corals in marine aquariums need nutrients that support tissue formation and upkeep. CoralAmino is made for reef keepers who want to add free-form amino acids to coral care, including when supporting tissue recovery after propagation or damage. Its formulation is based on oceanographers’ research into tropical coral tissue profiles, and it is also used by professional coral farmers.
CoralAmino supplies free-form amino acids that corals can assimilate as building blocks for proteins and tissue. The formula is designed to support new tissue growth, repair after fragmentation or damage, and growth through budding and fission. It is also intended to support vibrant coral coloration; results can vary with aquarium conditions and coral needs.
For target feeding, use 1 mL (about 20 drops) and gently release it 2–4 inches (5.1–10.2 cm) upstream from the corals. For broadcast feeding, add 1 mL (about 20 drops) per 50 gallons (189 L) in an area with swift water flow. The directions allow a larger amount when needed for many corals.
CoralAmino is made for marine reef aquariums containing stony or soft corals, solitary or colonial polyps, and other invertebrates. Its amino acid complex is not limited to stony coral species, although its amino acid ratios are modeled on stony coral tissues.
CoralAmino is a fit for reef aquarists looking to add an amino acid supplement to care for corals and other invertebrates, especially when supporting tissue growth or recovery. Keep the bottle in a cool place and do not freeze it. Its coral-focused amino acid formula and two feeding methods make it suitable for targeted or aquarium-wide use.
