BioactiveFX 5 Pack Proteins is a freeze-dried hermit crab food variety designed to support growth and exoskeleton health while encouraging natural foraging, with five different protein foods in one pack.

• Five protein-rich foods — brings different textures and flavors to your hermit crabs’ feeding routine.
• Third-party laboratory tested for purity and safety — adds quality checks to the ingredient selection.
• Developed by an Animal Science and Nutrition degree holder — created with species-appropriate nutrition in mind.
• Freeze-dried with no added preservatives — helps retain the foods’ natural flavor, color, and nutrients.
• Recyclable, airtight tubes with flip-top lids — make portioning convenient and help protect contents from moisture.

This variety pack is made for hermit crab keepers who want to offer protein foods with varied textures and encourage natural exploration during feeding. It can be served on its own or alongside other foods, with a smaller portion advised when combining foods.

What foods are included in the 5 Pack Proteins?

The pack contains Cyclops, Daphnia, Gammarus Shrimp, Plankton, and Water Flies in separate listed quantities. The range of foods gives hermit crabs different textures to encounter as they forage.

• Cyclops: 0.07 oz (2.0 g)
• Daphnia: 0.16 oz (4.5 g)
• Gammarus Shrimp: 0.07 oz (2.0 g)
• Plankton: 0.12 oz (3.4 g)
• Water Flies: 0.4 oz (4.0 g)

How much should I feed my hermit crabs?

Serve approximately ¼ teaspoon for every three crabs, using slightly less when you combine this food with other foods. The protein foods are freeze-dried and minimally processed, with no artificial colors, preservatives, or chemical processing.

• Food-grade ingredients are used rather than ingredients resold from fertilizer supply chains.
• Greensand is the stated exception in the brand’s broader ingredient range and is used for trace minerals.
• The intended use is pet feeding only; this food is not for human consumption.

How are the food tubes designed for storage and feeding?

Each tube measures 4.5 inches (11.43 cm) by 0.755 inches (1.92 cm) and has a hinged flip-top lid for pouring. The tubes are airtight, moisture-resistant, recyclable, and free of BPA, latex, and lead.

• Keep the tube sealed in a cool, dark location for storage of up to two years.
• Powders may take on moisture or clump slightly and remain safe to feed.
• Cross-contamination with allergens is possible despite sanitation practices.
• Tube color may vary.

BioactiveFX 5 Pack Proteins suits hermit crab keepers looking to add varied protein foods and foraging textures to their pets’ diet. Its five freeze-dried foods come in portionable tubes designed for convenient feeding and sealed storage.
