Bark Appeal Step-In Dog Harness, Black Plaid XXS – Breathable Mesh, Adjustable Fit

Bark Appeal’s XXS black plaid step-in dog harness is designed for extra-small pets, with breathable mesh and an adjustable strap to support a comfortable, secure walk.

• XXS sizing for extra-small pets — choose a harness intended for a small fit.
• Soft, breathable mesh — provides a light vest-style harness surface.
• Chest pressure distribution — designed to reduce pulling strain on the neck.
• Adjustable strap, heavy-duty buckle clip and sturdy D-rings — help keep the harness secured.
• Black plaid pattern — adds a distinctive look to walk-time gear.

A harness needs to fit the individual pet, not just match a weight estimate. This XXS option is for shoppers looking for an extra-small step-in style for walks with a dog, and the pressure-distributing design is also described for use with cats. Measure your pet carefully before choosing a size; body measurements, rather than weight alone, are the useful basis for finding a fit.

How does this harness help reduce neck strain?

The harness distributes pulling pressure across the chest instead of concentrating it on the neck, and it is vet recommended. This makes its design relevant for pet owners who want a harness for walks that addresses pulling pressure without relying on a collar around the neck. The step-in vest style is paired with adjustable securing components.

• Made from soft, breathable mesh.
• Designed for dogs and cats.
• Intended to support a safe, secure and comfortable walk.

How do I choose the right size?

Measure your pet carefully and use the sizing and measuring guide before buying; weight by itself does not provide an accurate fit. Re-measuring is important even for returning customers, because the sizing may have changed since an earlier order or a pet’s size may have changed. The XXS size is the extra-small option named for this harness.

• Use body measurements to guide your size choice.
• Measure again before a repeat purchase.
• Allow for changes in your pet’s size as well as updates to sizing.

What secures the harness during a walk?

An adjustable strap, a heavy-duty buckle clip and D-rings are built into the harness. These are the securing features that accompany the step-in vest design; the strap adjusts, while the buckle clip and rings provide the harness’s fastening and attachment points.

• Adjustable strap for fit.
• Heavy-duty buckle clip.
• D-rings for leash attachment.
