This harness is made for walks with large to X-large dogs, with a vest-style fit and chest-focused pressure distribution. Its raspberry plaid design combines with a step-in format, while the adjustable construction lets you tailor the fit. Since sizing has been updated, taking fresh measurements is important—even if you have purchased this harness before.

How does the harness help reduce neck strain?

Bark Appeal’s harness spreads pulling pressure across your dog’s chest instead of concentrating it on the neck. It is vet recommended and designed for a safe, secure and comfortable walk. The chest-distributing design is the key difference from relying on pressure at the neck.

• Vest-style coverage for walks.
• Designed for dogs that need a chest-distributing harness.

How do I choose the right size for my dog?

Use Bark Appeal’s sizing and measuring guide before choosing this XL harness; body measurements give a more accurate fit than weight alone. The sizing has been updated, and a dog’s size can change, so returning customers should measure again rather than relying on a previous order.

• Take fresh measurements before purchase, including for a repeat order.
• Use the sizing guide to assess fit for your individual dog.

What materials and fastenings does it have?

The Bark Appeal Raspberry Plaid Step-In Dog Harness is made from soft, breathable mesh and has an adjustable strap. A heavy-duty buckle clip fastens the harness, while sturdy D-rings provide attachment points for a leash. Its step-in vest format brings these features together in a harness made for walking.
