Its platform, ramp, and integrated tray bring climbing, resting, and feeding together above the water. The design is patent-pending, with materials intended to handle daily heat and UV exposure.

What size turtle and tank does the platform fit?

The large platform is intended for turtles around 7 inches or larger, as well as more than one smaller turtle. Its listed platform dimensions are 12.72 × 8.74 inches, giving turtles an above-water area to climb onto and rest. For tank fit, allow at least 14 inches across the shortest interior dimension; the platform is recommended for many 60-gallon breeder and 65+ gallon aquariums.

Patent-pending design made for medium to large turtles.

Professional-grade materials are intended for routine exposure to tank heat and UV.

How does the hanging platform attach to an aquarium?

Stainless steel hanging hooks and suction cups help hold the platform steady while turtles use it. It is designed for standard rectangular aquariums, including framed and rimless tanks, and fits aquarium frames up to 1.57 inches (4 cm) wide. The suspended setup keeps the tank floor clear, while the zip-tie-free construction avoids the need for ties or complicated assembly.

Frame-width limit: up to 1.57 inches (4 cm).

Check the tank’s inside dimensions and water level when judging placement.

What do the ramp and feeding tray do?

The gentle ramp has a textured grid surface to help turtles grip as they climb out of the water. Unlike a smooth acrylic ramp, the grid lets water drain and air move through, and helps reduce the risk of small claws getting caught. The divided tray gives turtles a place to eat while basking; feeding on the dock helps keep food out of the water, reducing mess in the tank. A small amount of food on the tray can encourage turtles to climb up and bask more often, supporting regular basking habits, normal metabolism, and calcium absorption.

Grid texture provides a climbing surface rather than a smooth ramp.

Multiple tray sections keep food separated while a turtle feeds.

How do you clean and maintain the basking dock?

The smooth finish helps resist dirt buildup, and the rounded edges provide a comfortable surface for climbing, resting, and basking. Wipe or rinse the dock as needed. These details make routine cleaning straightforward while keeping the climbing and resting areas easy to access.

Rounded edges along the turtle-contact surfaces.

Wipe or rinse for cleaning.

This platform suits turtle keepers looking for an elevated basking area for a medium or large turtle, or several smaller turtles, in a compatible rectangular aquarium.
